Job summary

Clark Wood Limited is seeking an Audit Director in Worcestershire to lead a diverse audit portfolio and drive the firm’s audit offering. The successful candidate will be a qualified RI with ACA/ACCA, strong UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and proven leadership, client relationship, and business development abilities.

The role involves planning through completion of audits, mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building long-term client partnerships in a senior leadership capacity.

Qualifications

• Qualified RI with significant UK practice experience.
• Current RI status with ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Manage and oversee a varied portfolio of audit clients.
• Review audit files and financial statements.
• Provide technical guidance on audit and accounting matters.
• Mentor and develop audit staff and managers.
• Contribute to business development and growth of the audit department.
