The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Deputy Clinical Lead - Audiology to lead clinical practice in adult audiology and to support service development at Freeman Hospital. The post focuses on advanced audiological assessment and rehabilitation, with line management and governance responsibilities to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will work closely with the Clinical Lead for Adult Audiology, reporting to senior leadership, and contribute to transforming our hearing

Formación

Registered Audiologist with AHCS (or HCPC) registration.
Previous NHS experience at Band 6+ level is essential, with leadership/operational management experience an advantage.
Experience in adult audiology and patient-centred care.

Responsabilidades

Lead one or more clinical areas of practice as agreed with Head of Audiology/Service Lead.
Provide line management for junior audiology staff and supervise audiology assistants.
Maintain governance, service improvement, and high-quality patient care.
Undertake routine and advanced audiological assessment and rehabilitation.
Coordinate clinics and contribute to service development and policy implementation.
