Chadwick Nott has longstanding relationships spanning over 20 years with leading boutique City and West End law firms.

These firms often excel in quality of work, profitability, and earning potential, and are interested in hiring talented senior associates (minimum 8 PQE) with some client following and the ambition to build a significant practice.

The level of client following sought will depend on remuneration, with clients in the £300-500k range, and candidates should be prepared to demonstrate why clients will follow them.

At this stage of your career, you may be on the cusp of partnership but find it either unattainable or 1-2 years away due to circumstances outside your control.

The focus on client following is because these firms are expanding and seek someone with strong business development and relationship-building skills. These roles are not solely 'book of business' hires; you'll work on existing clients and may be involved in succession planning.

Candidates should have at least 8 years PQE, qualified in England & Wales, and experience within a UK City or West End law firm.

You might currently work at a boutique or a Top 50 City or US law firm, seeking a more entrepreneurial environment, and confident that your clients instruct you based on your personal brand rather than institutional relationships.
