Who are we looking for?


We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-savvy Workday Analytics Specialist to support enterprise reporting and drive smarter decisions through high-quality, actionable insights from the Workday platform.


Reports to: Manager – Global Enterprise Shared Services
Location: Gurgaon/Bengaluru


Key responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and maintain custom reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards within Workday
•Analyze existing reports to identify redundant, outdated, or underutilized reports
•Lead the effort to streamline and rationalize Workday report inventory, consolidating similar reports and establishing best practices
•Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and ensure alignment with operational needs
•Provide insights and analysis using Workday data to support People Analytics, Finance, and other business functions
•Document reporting logic, data definitions, and reporting catalogs
•Stay updated on Workday reporting capabilities, features, and updates to enhance reporting standards.


Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
•3+ years of experience working with Workday reporting and analytics
•Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, and Workday Dashboards
•Experience analyzing and cleaning up large volumes of reports (e.g., rationalization, cataloging, usage analysis)
•Strong understanding of HR and/or Finance data within Workday
•Attention to detail with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
•Familiarity with Workday security model and report access controls
•Experience with tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL (for external data validation or analysis) is a plus
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
