Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Bristol is recruiting a Senior Associate Supervisor to lead the Contract Disputes team within Volume Litigation. The role blends technical supervision with light caseload management and offers a clear leadership pathway in a busy, supportive environment.

You will oversee a sub-team handling Small Claims Track and Fast Track matters, may manage up to 10 disputes, and contribute to strong client service while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with strong Contract Law background.
• Experience handling Fast Track matters independently.
• Proven people management or supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised, assertive and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical supervision of a sub-team handling Small Claims Track and Fast Track matters.
• Manage a small caseload of up to 10 consumer and commercial disputes.
• Assess prospects of success and advance claims through Civil Courts.
• Negotiate and litigate on Fast or Intermediate Track matters.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues; ensure quality and consistency.
• Support department performance and service delivery targets.
