Job summary

Aon in London is seeking a Senior Associate to join its fast-growing strategy team focused on insurers and reinsurers. You will work on high-value projects, shaping client strategy from hypothesis to delivery, with exposure to Aon’s global network.

You will lead workstreams, coach junior colleagues, conduct market research and data analysis, and present findings to senior stakeholders. Hybrid working is offered in a global, influential environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy consulting or related advisory work, preferably in insurance.
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities with data-driven insights.
• Proven track record leading workstreams and coaching juniors.

Responsibilities

• Structure, storyboard, plan and drive workstreams from hypothesis to deliverables.
• Lead market research, financial and data analysis to solve problems.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Work as part of a team that delivers high value strategy projects to insurers, reinsurers, and investors in the insurance industry on wide ranging strategic questions.
• Structure, storyboard, plan and implement workstreams.
• Develop hypotheses which address the client's key problems.
• Lead market research, financial and data analysis to solve complex problems.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Support the preparation and facilitation of interviews with clients and Aon colleagues.
• Contribute to sales development and development of go-to-market propositions.
• Contribute to the production of reports and other client deliverables.
• Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders including fielding client questions.
• Support team in developing proposals and other business development activities.
• Actively contribute to both project teams and the broader team environment.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Proven experience ideally within Strategy Consulting or Consulting (insurance experience preferred), or from an Insurance Audit background (with qualification)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in developing and testing hypotheses for unstructured client problems.
• Experience of leading workstreams and managing the output of others.
• Strong organisational skills including general project management.
• Strong experience of coaching and developing junior team members.
• Experience handling large data sets, building models and producing high quality outputs in Excel / PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Business insight and intellectual curiosity across business and consulting topics.
• Commitment to personal development.
