REPORTING TO: Director of Planning with responsibility for Graduate Planner & Assistant Project Manager/Planner

SALARY: Circa £45,000 DOE plus Bonus Scheme EXPERIENCE: 10 years plus (Membership of the RTPI ) Our Mission:

Job Description

● Lead and manage a wide range of planning appraisals, applications and appeals from inception through to decision and post-decision stages

● Take ownership of multiple projects, driving them forward with focus and efficiency

● Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes

● Develop and implement bespoke planning strategies tailored to each client’s goals

● Have line management responsibilities for a Graduate Planner and Project Assistant You must:

● Be adaptable, proactive, and client-focused

● Be passionate about planning and take real pride in the quality of your work

● Be confident working independently and collaboratively

● Skilled at managing your own workload and timelines

● Communicate confidently and clearly — in person, in writing, and across digital platforms

● Solve problems creatively and proactively to overcome planning challenges

● Embrace technology and work confidently within CRM systems and other digital tools that drive our business efficiency and growth

● Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a varied project portfolio

● Demonstrate strong project management and organisational skills

● Be MRTPI Chartered (or eligible)
