Key Responsibilities

As a Senior/Associate Rights of Light Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert advice to high-profile clients on a range of projects, including some of the most iconic developments in the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Undertaking detailed rights of light analyses using specialist software.
  2. Advising clients on daylight, sunlight, overshadowing, and related planning issues.
  3. Providing strategic input into project development to ensure client goals are met.
  4. Liaising with architects, planners, developers, and legal professionals to provide robust, commercially focused advice.
  5. Supporting the growth of the team by mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key Requirements
  1. Demonstrable experience in rights of light, daylight & sunlight, or a related specialist discipline.
  2. Strong technical knowledge and proficiency with rights of light software tools.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse client base.
  4. A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a keen eye for detail.
  5. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS, CIAT) are advantageous but not essential.
