Job Description:

About the Company

A dynamic and entrepreneurial real estate investment firm is seeking a talented Associate to join its London-based team. With approximately £3 billion in assets under management across Europe and North America, the firm is known for its agile, non-institutional approach and its focus on acquiring asset-backed operating businesses. The team operates across a wide range of sectors, delivering strong risk-adjusted returns through creative structuring and hands-on asset management.

Key Responsibilities

This role offers a rare opportunity to be involved in the full investment lifecycle, from origination through to execution and portfolio management. As part of a lean and high-performing team, you will:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and financial modelling of new investment opportunities, with a focus on operational real estate.
  • Lead and support various due diligence workstreams, including commercial, technical, legal, tax, and financial.
  • Identify key risks and value drivers in potential transactions.
  • Prepare and review detailed financial models and investment committee materials.
  • Assist in structuring and raising both debt and equity for new acquisitions and existing portfolio companies.
  • Support the ongoing management and performance tracking of portfolio assets.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including management teams, lenders, and advisors.
Candidate Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, or a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals, particularly in operational asset classes.
  • Proven ability to build and interpret complex financial models from scratch.
  • Excellent academic credentials and a track record of high performance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven investment professional to gain broad exposure and take on real responsibility in a collaborative and ambitious environment.
