Reed is seeking a Senior Associate - Real Estate (Energy & Natural Resources) in Bristol. You will join a nationally recognised team handling high-value property matters for clients in renewable energy, infrastructure and broader commercial property projects.

The role focuses on advising on property disciplines, development transactions and major energy infrastructure matters, with opportunities to draft, negotiate and build client relationships across a busy practice.

Qualificações

• 5+ years PQE in real estate.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on a broad range of property matters with focus on energy & natural resources.
• Support land options and property arrangements for wind, solar, battery storage and hydrogen developments.
• Handle acquisitions, disposals, development projects, landlord and tenant matters, asset management and portfolio management.
• Assist on the real estate aspects of major energy infrastructure projects, including renewable generation & pipelines.
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents, providing practical and commercially minded advice.
• Work with colleagues across a national real estate team on complex transactions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and trusted advisory support.
• Contribute to business development through client events, articles and marketing activity.

This Senior Real Estate opportunity is ideal for a qualified lawyer with strong property experience and a genuine interest in the energy and natural resources sector. Joining a nationally recognised legal team, you will work on high-value, high-profile matters for clients involved in renewable energy, infrastructure and wider commercial property projects.

Day-to-day of the role

• Advise on a broad range of property matters with a focus on energy and natural resources.
• Support land options and property arrangements for wind, solar, battery storage and hydrogen developments.
• Handle acquisitions, disposals, development projects, landlord and tenant matters, asset management and portfolio management work.
• Assist on the real estate aspects of major energy infrastructure projects, including renewable generation and mainstream power and pipeline matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents, providing practical and commercially minded advice.
• Work closely with colleagues across a wider national real estate team on complex transactions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and trusted advisory support.
• Contribute to business development through client events, articles and other marketing activity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience gained within a real estate legal team.
• Background in development transactions and projects, either within the energy sector or across wider property work.
• Strong drafting skills and the ability to provide commercially pragmatic advice.
• Genuine interest in the energy and natural resources sector.
• Confident relationship-building skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
