Job Title: Senior/ Associate Quantity Surveyor (PQS)
Location: Bristol
Salary £55,000- £70,000 (inclusive of car allowance, negotiable depending on level of experience) + additional benefits

Kenton Black International is supporting a leading consultancy in their search for a Senior/Quantity Surveyor to join their Bristol office, working across various sectors.

A well-established, privately owned SME multidisciplinary firm with over a century of experience, expanding their Bristol team. Employing circa 70 staff across multiple offices, their expertise includes project management, cost consultancy, building surveying, and more. They deliver bespoke solutions tailored to each project, working on schemes up to £500 million across sectors like leisure, retail, commercial, infrastructure, residential, healthcare, and industrial.

The Opportunity
We seek candidates with a proven track record in cost management, quantity surveying, or scheduling across the full project lifecycle and sectors.

Responsibilities include:
• Pre and post-contract duties, including cost estimates, procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
• Overseeing project contracts, ensuring compliance, managing risks, and stakeholder coordination.
• Conducting feasibility studies and procurement reports.
• Cost estimating, planning, and presenting final cost plans.
• Producing monthly cost reports and engaging with clients at all stages.
• Managing cost variances and change control processes.
• Performing risk analysis, value engineering, and final account negotiations.
