Job Description:

Propsource Consulting are working with a well-known worldwide multi-disciplinary consultancy who are currently seeking a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor to join the team in their Manchester or Leeds office.

Working closely alongside directors and other team members, you will be providing professional advice to clients across a range of multi-discipline commercial projects.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will lead on the following:

  • Managing tasks and deliverables alongside the client and wider project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the projects
  • Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives
  • Providing accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget
  • Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPI's and objectives including programme performance, cost control and value engineering
  • Ensuring all final accounts are negotiated and agreed
  • Ensuring projects comply with applicable statutory and regulatory legislation
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality standards ensuring high levels of satisfaction

Ideal Candidate

  • MRICS desired but not essential
  • Previous consultancy Quantity Surveying experience
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
  • Can come from a Project Management or Quantity Surveying background
  • Strong leadership and commercial skills
