We work smarter to face the challenges of the future; bringing the clarity that helps teams realise their full potential across the real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.

Our growing Real Estate team is actively looking to engage with project management professionals to aid in the delivery of a broad range of defence schemes for our Derbyshire-based client.

We are looking to actively grow our defence sector accounts on a local, national and corporate scale. To successfully achieve our targets, we are seeking highly motivated, technically competent, and practically skilled individuals who have foundation experience working as part of a delivery team to join our expanding defence community. You will be part of the fastest growing framework in the business, with opportunities to grow both your own foundation delivery experience and knowledge and collectively working towards common goals and thriving on each other’s success.

A Defence Sector Project Manager would be expected to support large-scale contracts and projects within our overall Defence Sector Portfolio. Typically, these are large scale capital investment projects from a wider portfolio initiative supporting one of the 6 TLB holders. Key delivery responsibilities include day to day design team management at a delivery level supporting the overall capital project process both with day-to-day ownership of core project management tasks through all RIBA work stages. Successful performance is measured on the core parameters of any project whilst facilitating programme, risk, and change management.

    • Proven track record of successfully supporting components of large-scale defence projects across multiple RIBA work stages, either as a consultant or in a client organisation.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading components of large/small scale design management or post contract experience.
    • Experience of supporting design teams / technical disciplines or general resource management.
    • SC level Security Clearance.

    • APM associate or equivalent.
    • Technical Degree in broader Engineering disciplines or wider Earth Sciences.
    • Demonstrable experience of procurement and wider commercial acumen (ideally supporting public sector business cases and framework style single or two stage tendering).
    • Some experience using NEC3/4 PSC/ECC contracts (both pre- and post-contract).
    • Our inspired people share our vision and mission. We provide a great place to work, where each person has the opportunity and voice to affect change.

We want our people to succeed both in work and life. To support this we promote a healthy, productive and flexible working environment that respects work-life balance.
