Our client, one of the countries leading private client firms with over 300 years of advising wealthy families, property investors, landed estates, entrepreneurs and family businesses, are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Associates to join their growing private client/tax department. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years post qualified experience and will have trained at a reputable City firm. This role is a key role within a growing practice and this you will be expected to lead and supervise matters with full support from the hiring firm.
Requirements
- 5+ PQE
- Experienced providing advice on UK taxation, particularly for non-UK domiciled clients and international families. You will also be experienced advising on complex wealth holding and its associated tax issues.
- Knowledge of trusts and wealth structures in other jurisdictions is preferable.
- Excellent academics, minimum 2.1 and A,B, B at A Level
- Strong technical skills and an ability to explain complex taxation matters in an accessible way
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive self-starter with plenty of drive and initiative
- Ability to run sizeable projects
- Ambitious, with a commitment to develop technical skills and the profile of the international team as a whole
- Preferably, STEP membership
