This is an exciting opportunity for a talented planner to join a collaborative and ambitious team, working across a diverse portfolio of development management projects, with a particular focus on Green Belt and local planning authority work.
The Role
As an Associate, you'll be expected to lead small to medium-sized projects from inception through to completion and support senior colleagues on larger, more complex schemes. You'll work closely with clients and external consultants, attend meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and play an active role in mentoring junior planners.
As a Senior Planner, you'll contribute to a wide range of planning work, particularly where Green Belt and LPA experience are required. This includes preparing applications, advising clients, and helping manage stakeholder relationships across the project lifecycle.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
·MRTPI accreditation (or very close to achieving it)
·A minimum of 4 years' experience in planning, ideally with direct LPA and Green Belt project exposure
·Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and local government processes
·Experience leading or contributing to projects in a consultancy or LPA setting
·Full UK driving licence
·Comfortable attending the office regularly (with 1 day per week working from home)
What's on Offer
In return for your dedication and expertise, you'll enjoy a comprehensive and competitive remuneration package, including:
·Competitive salary and bonus scheme
·25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
·Pension scheme
·Paid professional membership
·Life assurance
If you're an experienced Planner looking to step up or an established Associate ready for a fresh challenge, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected team making a real impact in the region.
