Job Description

A specialist neighbourly matters firm are seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join their Party Wall team at Senior/Associate level, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of high profile projects across London and the surrounding areas. As a Party Wall Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering expert advice and managing all aspects of party wall matters under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from residential homeowners to commercial developers, ensuring seamless communication and professional guidance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing detailed advice on party wall procedures and obligations.
  2. Preparing and serving notices, schedules of condition, and party wall awards.
  3. Managing disputes and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  4. Liaising with property owners, developers, and other stakeholders.
  5. Conducting site visits and inspections as required.

Key Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Party Wall Surveyor.
  2. Strong understanding of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred but not essential).
  5. A proactive and client-focused approach to service delivery.
