What is the opportunity?

Working within the team responsible for managing client lifecycle events for the institutional EMEA/APAC segregated client base. To facilitate the on-and off-boarding and change management events throughout the relationship cycle with our segregated clients. To manage the on-and off-boarding of RBC BlueBay's pooled fund range and closed ended funds across all asset classes.

What will you do?

  • Working in the Onboarding and Transition Management function within EMEA and APAC Business development
  • Responsible for managing delivery of On-Boarding, off-boarding and transition activity of RBC BlueBay's pooled funds, closed end products and segregated mandates including ensuring effective collaboration with client facing teams and internal business stakeholders and well as client appointed third parties
  • Key responsibilities to ensure clients are provided with clear communication in relation to the events and support model for their client journey
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders: Investment Management teams, Client Directors, Sales, Product Development, and co-ordinate infrastructure teams e.g. Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, Fund Accounting, IT to manage client onboarding, fund/mandate launches, closures, and transition events in a timely and efficient manner
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams, supporting & coordinating changes for new Service Now workflow and task implementation
  • Work closely with direct team members as well as Director, Onboarding and Transition Management to ensure full coverage of each event and ensure knowledge is shared in an environment of constant improvement
  • Support management as required in BAU responsibilities to continue increasing the teams operating efficiencies
  • Demonstrate awareness of new regulatory & market changes including ESG. Identify common goals and how this may impact Fund onboarding timelines.
  • Proactively works to ensure we are collectively mitigating risks associated with fund/mandate launches, closures, and transition events through the client journey
  • Maintaining an effective network management within RBC Global Asset Management globally
  • Co-operating with colleagues across the firm and promotes successful team performance in line with strategic objectives
  • Maintaining client and security data in systems

  • Must be highly reliable and extremely professional.
  • Must be proficient: in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Willing to embrace new technology.
  • Desirable: Experience with SharePoint, Concur, Salesforce, Workday, ADP, Microsoft Teams & WebEx.

Nice to have
  • Degree educated or equivalent is preferred.
  • Second European language advantageous
