A prominent UK law firm is seeking a Senior Associate/Legal Director to join its expanding Tier 1 Planning team in Ipswich or Cambridge. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality legal services, manage a team, and actively participate in business development to foster client relationships.   • Assist in designing and implementing process improvements.

A top 50 UK full service law firm with ambitious plans for growth

Role

  • Delivering high quality legal services to clients, performance and risk management
  • A focus on delivering high quality planning advice to local planning authority, housebuilder and development clients
  • Working with the leadership team from time to time, assisting in the design, delivery and implementation of system changes, workflow and process improvements
  • Being involved in business development activities to promote the office and the business as a whole

You

  • 10+ years PQE with a well-developed knowledge in a range of Planning, Environmental and Compulsory Purchase
  • Management experience to grow and supervise a team, with the technical ability to run and manage your own full caseload of files from initial instruction through to post completion
  • Active in marketing and business development in order to expand this area of workand gain new clients, building good relationships with referrers in the local area
