Job Description:

Our client, a prestigious international law firm headquartered in Central London, is currently seeking a Senior Associate with a strong non-contentious IP experience (preferably with an emphasis on Patents/Life Sciences) to join them on an initial 6 Month FTC with a view to extension.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IP Associate, Solicitor, or Lawyer to provide non-contentious intellectual property law advice to the firm's clients. The role supports various practice areas including commercial and technology, corporate finance, finance/banking, real estate/built environment, and litigation/dispute resolution. Client sectors include technology, property/PropTech, financial services/FinTech, consumer retail, sport, entertainment, hospitality, and leisure (including hotels).

To be considered, candidates must:

1. Have at least 5-6 years PQE.
2. Have an exclusively or largely private practice background in a comparable or PATMA firm, with the ability to operate in a large, full-service law firm.
3. Demonstrate a track record of delivering high-quality non-contentious IP advice.
4. Be a non-contentious IP specialist with deep knowledge and experience of:

• The full range of IP rights (including patentability, excluding patent clearance and work typically done by patent attorneys),
• The application of these rights in various transactions, including structuring, ownership, assignment, licensing, exploitation, and management to maximize commercial value.
