Senior Associate - Infrastructure Private Equity (Energy Transition) - Mega Fund, West Midlands

Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading mega fund to hire a Senior Associate for their Investment team in London. The team specialises in investments across a diverse range of sectors focused on driving the transition to a sustainable future. Their investment strategy covers several verticals including Energy Transition, Industrial Decarbonization, Sustainable Mobility, Sustainable Resource Use, and Sustainable Real Estate.

Backed by a significant pool of capital and an active investment mandate, the Senior Associate will be involved in deal execution, structuring, and portfolio management, working alongside experienced investors in a growing platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution within the infrastructure and energy transition sectors.
  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis from scratch.
  • Assist in portfolio management and monitoring of investments.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Currently an Associate within a private equity or credit fund.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and energy transition sectors, with a proven deal track record.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills, including building models from scratch.
  • Degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related discipline from a top-tier university.
  • Fluency in another European language is beneficial but not required.
