Job summary

Infrassocs Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior structured finance professional to join at founding-team stage, with immediate exposure to origination, structuring and investment committee decisions.

You will originate and screen subordinated and mezzanine opportunities across Europe, support on structuring, build models, run due diligence, prepare IC materials and present recommendations to the partners. Negotiation through to close and ongoing covenant monitoring are involved.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ structured finance experience as a lender in energy/digital infra.
• Strong modelling track record reviewing sponsor and advisor models.
• Experience from term sheet through to documentation and close.
• Ability to grasp complex structures quickly and present clearly to IC.
• Confident in client-facing role with sponsors, developers and investors.

Responsibilities

• Supporting structuring including construction finance, mezzanine, NAV loans and PIK instruments.
• Building and reviewing transaction models and running base-case and sensitivity analysis.
• Running due diligence workstreams with legal, technical and insurance advisors.
• Preparing IC materials and presenting recommendations to the partners.
• Negotiating term sheets and finance documentation through to close.
• Monitoring portfolio positions, covenant compliance and sponsor relationships.

We are partnering with a newly launched, founder-led credit platform providing subordinated and mezzanine credit to energy and digital infrastructure sponsors and developers across Europe. Its facilities offer flexible, non-dilutive alternatives to equity or restrictive mezzanine debt. The team is lean and high-conviction, with fast decision-making and minimal bureaucracy, and is growing quickly.

The role:

This is a rare chance to join at founding-team stage, working directly alongside the partners with immediate exposure to origination, structuring and investment committee decisions. Responsibilities include:

• Originating and screening subordinated and mezzanine opportunities across Europe
• Supporting the partners on structuring, including construction finance, mezzanine, NAV loans and PIK instruments
• Building and reviewing transaction models, and running base case and sensitivity analysis
• Running due diligence workstreams with legal, technical and insurance advisors
• Preparing IC materials and presenting recommendations to the partners
• Negotiating term sheets and finance documentation through to close
• Monitoring portfolio positions, including covenant compliance and sponsor relationships

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ structured finance experience as a lender, in senior or subordinated financing, within energy and/or digital infrastructure
• Strong modelling track record, including reviewing sponsor and advisor models
• Transaction experience from term sheet through to documentation and close (a deal list will be requested)
• Ability to grasp complex structures quickly and present them clearly to counterparties and IC
• Confident in a client-facing role with sponsors, developers and investors
• Self-driven and comfortable handling all deal workstreams with limited junior support initially
