Job summary

Pearse Partners Ltd. is seeking an Associate for its European Credit Investment Team in London. You will work with senior credit professionals to evaluate infrastructure investments and contribute to a growing portfolio across energy, utilities, transport and logistics.

The role focuses on due diligence, financial modelling and preparing IC materials, with engagement in portfolio monitoring and fundraising initiatives to build a long-term franchise.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in credit analysis or investing, project or structured finance, or infrastructure M&A.
• Strong financial modelling skills and ability to analyse capital structure, profitability and cash flows.
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated approach to building a franchise long term.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence across finance, credit and valuation analyses for new infrastructure credit investments.
• Build and review detailed financial models.
• Prepare investment committee materials and conduct asset, corporate and industry research.
• Source and screen new opportunities, and monitor the existing portfolio.
• Engage with management teams and fund investors, supporting fundraising and strategic initiatives.

We are working with a leading global infrastructure investment manager to hire an Associate into its growing European Credit Investment Team in London. This is a chance to work directly with senior credit professionals at a fast-growing, impact-driven platform, reporting to the Head of European Credit.

The platform invests across energy, utilities, transport and logistics, digital, social and environmental infrastructure globally. They can invest across the capital structure but do have a target to invest in mezzanine or subordinated debt positions.

The role:

• Due diligence across finance, credit and valuation analyses for new infrastructure credit investments
• Building and reviewing detailed financial models
• Preparing investment committee materials and conducting asset, corporate and industry research
