Job summary

Flynn & Chase is partnering with a leading global advisory firm to recruit a Senior Associate into its London Debt Advisory practice. This role offers breadth across refinancing, capital structure optimisation, and a diversified international client base in a fast-paced environment.

You will engage a deep network of capital providers and support origination, diligence and execution of complex debt transactions from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Experience in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate banking or restructuring.
• Strong financial modelling and credit analysis skills.
• Sharp commercial judgement across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support origination, diligence, structuring and execution of debt deals end-to-end.
• Appraise finance arrangements and shape capital structures.
• Build financial models and covenant analysis.
• Prepare lender presentations and information packs.
• Help lead lender discussions and manage deal logistics.
• Support negotiation and documentation with legal advisors.

The products you’ll advise on

• Refinancing and capital structure optimisation
• Senior and junior term loans, RCFs and bilateral facilities
• Unitranche, mezzanine and structured finance
• ABL, asset finance and invoice discounting
• Syndicated and senior secured financings
• Debt capital markets, shareholder and sustainable finance
• Growth finance and M&A funding

You’ll engage a deep network of capital providers, including commercial and challenger banks, credit funds and asset‑based lenders.

What we’re looking for

Languages

Fluent English essential. French or any other European language a strong advantage given the team’s pan-European mandate.
