Job description

We are working with a highly regarded consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Senior or Associate level professional to join their growing team. This company is a trusted name in the property and construction consultancy sector, known for its expertise in fund monitoring and project advisory services. As a Senior/Associate Fund Monitoring Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice to a wide range of clients, including banks, investors, and developers. You’ll be responsible for managing and delivering high quality fund monitoring reports, ensuring that projects are financially viable and risks are mitigated effectively.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Leading the preparation of comprehensive project monitoring reports.
  2. Conducting due diligence on development proposals, including cost, programme, and risk assessment.
  3. Advising clients on funding viability, project risks, and mitigation strategies.
  4. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  5. Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  6. Supporting junior team members and contributing to their professional development.

Key Requirements:

  1. MRICS qualified.
  2. Significant experience in fund monitoring or building/cost consultancy with a clear aim of moving careers into Monitoring.
  3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project financing.
  4. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  5. A client-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  6. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Salary & Benefits:
