Description: As a Senior Associate in Financial Planning & Analysis at Gordon Brothers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and driving business performance primarily across the EMEA and APAC regions. While your focus will be on these regions, you will also contribute to certain areas impacting North America and the consolidated group. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will collaborate with senior leaders across the group to deliver insights that drive our business forward.

We are specifically seeking candidates who have demonstrated proficiency in the Workday Adaptive Planning platform, preferably with Pro-Certification. This expertise is critical to our FP&A processes, and we will not consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.

Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions

• Lead comprehensive financial reporting efforts, including detailed analysis of financial results, cost structures, KPI tracking, and pipeline activity, to provide actionable insights.
• Innovate and streamline processes to ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful management information, thereby driving strategic decision-making.
• Continuously refine and enhance our budgeting and forecasting processes to support dynamic business needs and achieve strategic goals.
• Drive process improvement and consistency across the regions.
• Partner with business units and regional teams to deliver high-impact financial activities, including the forecasting of in-flight project, consolidated financial planning, balance sheet forecasting, and capital planning.
• Collaborate with the Technology, Strategy, and Innovation team to implement cutting-edge tools and technologies, enhancing efficiency and consistency in financial management across regions.
• Lead special projects, conduct complex analyses, summarize findings, and provide strategic recommendations to support the FP&A team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Exceptional financial acumen with expertise in modelling, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics.
• Ownership of management reporting and the ability to distill complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand messages.
• Proficient in coding languages such as Python, SQL, and VBA, with the ability to automate and optimize financial processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with ERP systems like NetSuite is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple processes and deliverables in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
• Confident and adept at interacting with all levels of management, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
• Collaborative, team player adept at working with and influencing business partners and building constructive relationships with stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.
• Highly curious and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the organization.
• Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in a corporate or divisional FP&A role or a related financial position.
• Advanced experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is essential for this role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field (minimum 2:1).
• Proven analytics experience in a fast-paced financial services or professional services environment.
• Experience using financial analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities.
• Track record of meeting and exceeding expectations, with a proven ability to drive results and support team success.
