Job Description

Finance Systems Analyst at Checkout.com:

This role will sit in the Finance Transformation Team, reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems. The purpose of this team is to enable the Finance Team to deliver on Checkout.com's objectives through system implementations, process re-engineering (covering controls and risk management), and operating model design. As part of this team, you will focus on managing our key finance systems, including Workday, Zip, Emburse, Adaptive, and Kyriba. You will provide Application Management Support (AMS) and partner with key system users to continually improve the system for end users. You will also support some Finance Transformation initiatives based on your experience and career goals.

What you will be doing:

Providing AMS services, which include:

  • Incident management
  • Release management
  • End user training
  • Creating and maintaining online help documents
  • Vendor coordination
  • Testing (UAT and regression)
  • Managing user subscriptions

Supporting the wider Finance Transformation initiative, which may include:

  • Collaborating with software implementation partners to deliver new modules or features
  • Program Management Office responsibilities
  • Process mapping
  • Control assessment and enhancement
  • Process automation
  • Policy and process creation
  • Analyzing data to make recommendations and informed decisions

Qualifications

  • Financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting enterprise financial systems
  • Good understanding of integration approaches
  • Operational finance experience with AP, P2P, Expense functions
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and propose solutions
  • Ability to translate technical expertise into practical solutions and process guidance

Preferred experience / qualifications:

  • Experience administering systems like Zip, Emburse, Workday, Kyriba, or Adaptive
  • Experience with VBA or SQL
  • Experience with low-code integration platforms
