Job summary

QED Legal LLP is supporting a well-established regional law firm in Greater Manchester in appointing a Senior Family Solicitor to lead divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and related disputes. The role involves regular travel between offices, client meetings, court hearings and local networking to grow the firm’s presence in Bury and Salford.

You will advise and represent clients across the full spectrum of family law, draft precise documentation, and appear in court or mediation

Qualifications

• Divorce and financial remedy experience required.
• Experience handling private law children issues.
• Cohabitation disputes expertise including TOLATA.
• Injunctions and domestic abuse experience.

Job description

A well-established regional law firm recommended by the Legal 500 with a strong reputation across Greater Manchester, is looking to appoint a Senior Family Solicitor. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role within a growing firm, working closely with colleagues in other offices and helping to develop the firm's presence in Greater Manchester, particularly in Bury and Salford.

The firm is known for high-quality private work and a client-focused approach. While there is some existing caseload to inherit, this position offers the chance to shape the department and caseload.

The Role:

• Divorce and financial remedy cases
• Private law children issues
• Cohabitation disputes (including TOLATA)
• Injunctions and domestic abuse work

Regular travel will be required between offices and to client meetings, court hearings and local networking events.
