Job summary

Ignite Talent Group is representing a client seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their Chester office at Senior Associate or Partner level. You will help establish and grow the Employment Law presence in Chester and North Wales, handling high-value matters with autonomy.

You will work in a close-knit team from Supervising through to Partner, develop business and networking activities, and advise on a wide range of employment issues while contributing to the firm's growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Employment Law.
• Experience managing own caseload and advocacy in Employment Tribunal.
• Strong client focus and ability to grow the Chester presence.
• Able to work independently and contribute to the firm's growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop a dedicated Employment Law presence within the Chester office.
• Undertake networking and business development activities to raise the profile of the Employment team and generate new work opportunities.
• Manage a varied caseload of employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims and day-to-day HR and employment law advice.
• Undertake advocacy work and represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Employment team and other departments.
• Contribute profitably to the firm through effective time recording, billing, and case management.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join their Employment team at either Senior Associate or Partner level, primarily based in their Chester office. This is a newly created role designed to establish and strengthen our Employment Law presence in Chester and North Wales, supporting the continued growth of the department.

You’ll handle high-value matters with a strong degree of autonomy in a growing close-knit department of five, spanning Supervising Secretary through to Partner level.

About you:

• Able to work independently while also being an engaged and supportive team player.
