Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution |SW London |circa £80K|hybrid working |Legal 500 firm

A leading Legal 500 firm with a stellar reputation, this practice operates from offices in both SW London and the City. They are known for delivering City-level service without the corporate edge – offering an approachable, collaborative culture with a strong focus on client care.

Renowned for their modern and commercially minded approach, due to growth they are actively seeking a Senior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a visible, impactful role where you will work closely with the Head of Department (HOD) to manage a junior team and take on leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

The Role

The team is currently structured with a Partner/HOD, two Associates, and two Trainees. As the HOD also manages firmwide compliance, they are seeking a Senior Associate who can offer both technical litigation strength and day-to-day support in team leadership and oversight.

This is not a back-office role — it is perfect for someone who wants to shape and grow a department, have a voice at the table, and get involved in management and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake a high-level mixed caseload of civil, property and commercial disputes resolution matters including contentious probate
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the Dispute Resolution department through networking and business development
  • Supervisory responsibilities i.e. mentoring, managing performance and development of juniors and trainee solicitors

Who they are looking for:

  • Qualified Litigation Solicitor with at least 7 years PQE across a broad mix of civil and commercial matters including property disputes and contentious probate
  • Excellent Business Development experience with the desire to contribute to the continued growth of the firm
  • Ability to manage junior team members, ensuring high performance and professional development
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with clients, team members and wider firm.
