Job Description

My Client, an International Project Finance bank in London, seeks an ambitious Associate Director or Junior Director to join their Infrastructure Finance origination team in the City.

Responsibilities include:

1. Utilise existing client connections to originate new business opportunities internationally for the Division, predominantly with infrastructure investors.
2. Generate new client relationships.
3. Screen investment opportunities through client outreach and marketing.
4. Facilitate or lead active relationships with investors, advisers, commercial lenders, and other financial partners in the market sector and beyond, as well as with developers and investors.
5. Structure the financing of the Bank's projects as Underwriting or lead MLA.
6. In the case of “originate to distribute” projects, enhance distribution potential during structuring and negotiation processes using Syndications, NPI, and CMU.
7. Assist the Bank’s execution capability to ensure deals are executed efficiently.
8. Support the internal approvals process, including interface with risk management, compliance, legal, distribution/syndication, and other teams, as well as management and credit committees.
9. Ensure adherence to relevant UK regulations.
10. Develop and maintain expertise by keeping current with industry changes and new asset class opportunities for the Bank to consider.
11. Oversee and coordinate associates and deal team members during new business development and transaction management as part of the Bank’s wider development programme for the Division.

Suitable candidates MUST have a demonstrable track record of contacts and deal origination across the Digital, Social, and Transport Infrastructure sectors, with experience from the London market.
