Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer - Senior Associate Director, Data Management

Core to the solution is the advanced data and technology capabilities, fueled by WPP’s investment in AI, to maximize the impact of Nestlé media investment.

ACCOUNT OVERVIEW

OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestlé Europe. With 47 countries, over 450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is seeking a Senior Associate Director to provide data management for the North Cluster.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

As a Senior Associate Director within the Data Management team, you will lead the development and automation of data and dashboarding solutions for Nestlé. This is a hands-on role, responsible for managing and delivering various projects for client reporting. We are looking for a creative, experienced, and motivated individual to help develop dashboards and build cutting-edge solutions using the latest technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Onboard fully onto the OpenMind platforms and integrate with all key stakeholders.
2. Design, develop, and maintain dashboarding and cloud solutions; troubleshoot issues with GCP and Power BI.
3. Maintain and develop Nestlé’s end-to-end data management processes, including data governance, architecture, automation, quality management, security, and reporting.
4. Represent the data and reporting needs of the UK, Ireland, and Nordics markets in global BI solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose.
5. Ensure alignment between platform data and Power BI solutions to maintain data integrity and build trust for business decision-making.
6. Support and collaborate with the Naming Convention Lead to protect data integrity and value.
7. Ensure delivery of agency best practices in data management, cloud computing, and data security.
8. Become a trusted point of contact at the client peer level.
9. Work closely with your director to set objectives and ensure continuous progression.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Essential

1. Solid experience with SQL on cloud platforms or SQL Server, with a preference for GCP.
2. Experience working with dashboarding tools (Power BI preferred); experience with enterprise or paginated reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI Report Builder is advantageous.
3. Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply.
4. Experience working with digital marketing and/or web analytics data.
5. Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
6. Experience working in technical teams using Agile, Scrum methodologies, and tools like Github/Gitlab.
