Job summary

Bydand Recruitment Services Limited partners with NHS, healthcare providers and life sciences firms to recruit top-tier privacy and commercial counsel. An Associate / Senior Associate will advise on data protection and information governance within a national healthcare practice, alongside broader technology contracting.

You'll draft data sharing agreements, advise on international transfers, privacy policies, breach response and commercial arrangements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in data protection, information law and/or relevant commercial work.
• Experience can have been gained within or outside the healthcare sector
• Strong understanding of data protection and information governance issues, or commercial/technology contracting with an interest in developing further expertise in data

Responsibilities

• Advising NHS, healthcare, public sector and commercial clients on data protection and information law
• Drafting and negotiating data sharing and processing agreements and advising on international data transfers
• Advising on data breaches, privacy policies, subject access requests and the use of data in health-tech and research
• Drafting broader commercial arrangements, including technology contracts, framework agreements, call-off terms and licensing arrangements
