Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a senior construction disputes lawyer to join its large team in London. You will handle complex disputes, advising on payment, extensions of time, defects and insurance, and supervise junior lawyers.

The role requires 5+ years PQE in contentious construction and a 2:1 degree, with strong knowledge of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 and CPR. You will also manage adjudications, arbitrations, mediations, and client development activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE in contentious construction.
• Strong knowledge of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 and the CPR.
• Experience in adjudication, mediation and court work.
• Experience supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Advise on payment, extensions of time, defects and insurance.
• Run adjudications, arbitrations and mediations.
• Draft submissions and witness statements.
• Handle TCC proceedings and supervise junior lawyers.
• Support business development.
