Job Description:

Do you want to work for the premium specialist PR, Communications & Advocacy recruitment firm in London? Would you thrive in a collaborative, fun, and rewarding environment?

Who we are?

Ellwood Atfield is a specialist recruitment and search consultancy within the Public Affairs and Communications industry. Established over 20 years ago, we have a team of 24+ professionals. Our clients influence public policy, shape legislation, and protect and promote major brands, products, services, and corporate reputations. Our team comprises ex-practitioners and experienced recruiters passionate about their work. Join us to grow your career, work with leading brands, and help shape our story.

We are different from many firms. We lack rigid KPIs, avoid micromanagement, and do not adopt a "one size fits all" approach. We value excellence, customer satisfaction, and a collaborative, fun work environment. Our internal culture fosters shared incentives and a "one team" ethos.

What you’ll be doing?

Senior Associate Consultants manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing candidates, account management, business development, client liaison, database management, and networking.

What you get from it

  • A structured career path with clear progression opportunities
  • Training through leading recruitment networks, with personalized development plans
  • Financial rewards with uncapped, monthly pay, and benefits such as 29 days holiday, private health cover, pension, savings plans, and social events
  • Exposure to top professionals and practices in communications and advocacy
  • A lively, flexible workplace moving to a new office in Bloomsbury with hybrid working (3 days in-office, flexible hours)
  • Reputation and brand recognition to enhance your CV
  • A career to be proud of

What we need?

If you are proactive, engaging, ambitious, and interested in current affairs, we will support your career growth in headhunting, enabling you to achieve great results and earnings.

To succeed, you should:

  • Have 1-3 years’ experience in sales, PR, communications, client-facing roles, or recruitment
  • Experience in Not-for-Profit or Health sectors is advantageous but not required
  • Be well-informed about current affairs and business
  • Be resilient and optimistic, ready to handle the challenges of headhunting
  • Be a self-starter, hardworking, and adaptable to ambiguity
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and work collaboratively
  • Be ambitious and eager to earn well through smart and hard work
  • Pay attention to detail and go the extra mile
