The Opportunity
We are looking for a 4+ PQE UK qualified lawyer to join our Corporate, Commercial and Privacy team. In this position, you will assist our growing number of diverse clients with a varied range of commercial, privacy and corporate work. LegalVision's clients operate in a range of industries, including SaaS/IT, healthcare, e-commerce, construction and recruitment.
Ideally, we are also looking for a versatile lawyer, with a broad knowledge base, who is also willing to be flexible and to assist our other practice areas from time to time. Our ideal candidate has a strong grasp of the UK's data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR), as well as consumer laws.
The role will also involve people management responsibilities for trainees and junior lawyers, so a genuine interest in coaching and developing others is a must.

How You'll Help Clients
- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, e-commerce documents, IT and software contracts, IP and licensing agreements, contractor agreements and referral agreements
- Drafting and reviewing Privacy Policies and Internal Privacy Manuals
- Advising on the GDPR, including responding to data subject access requests, data breaches, controller/processor arrangements, and AI implications
- Advising on UK consumer laws
- Advising on company structuring, and preparing articles of association and shareholder agreements
- Assisting clients with general corporate governance, such as share splits, share issues and transfers
- Qualified: A UK qualified lawyer with demonstrated experience in assisting commercial clients in a variety of commercial, corporate and privacy matters
