Location & Position Details:

The position is based in Palladium’s Bristol or London office, within our United Kingdom, Europe, and Africa (UKEA) region. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Palladium supports a hybrid working model with 3 days in office and 2 days from home.

This Opportunity

As a Senior Associate within the Climate, Environment and Natural Capital (CENC) team at Palladium, you will leverage your Spanish and/or French language skills in programme implementation and business development. The team collaborates with public and private clients to deliver nature-positive restoration projects in the UK and globally.

Key programmes include UKPACT2, Partnerships for Forests, Revere, and the Rebuild Facility.

Reporting Lines

The role reports to a Senior Manager within the team. You will manage Project Associates and/or junior staff on various programmes.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver multiple requests and project needs, leading different components across programmes.
  • Assist in pursuing new business opportunities, managing bids, leading commercial development, and supporting strategy and recruitment.
  • Support cross-sector collaboration as needed.
  • Research trends and identify opportunities for project improvement.
  • Manage subcontracts and third-party vendor contracts, including contractual and payment issues.
  • Support operational activities throughout project life cycles.
  • Process contract requests such as travel, personnel changes, and budgets.
  • Contribute to technical activities like workplans, deliverables, and communication products.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Build and maintain sector-specific relationships with partners and consultants.
  • Review and process invoices from consultants and vendors.
  • Assist in financial forecasting, error correction, and resource planning.
  • Contribute to research, reports, budgets, proposals, and other outputs.
  • May require national and international travel.
  • Perform other duties as required.
