Senior Associate, Client Onboarding - Account & Market Activation

We’re seeking a Senior Associate, Client Onboarding - Account & Market Activation to join our EMEA Global Client Activation (GCA) team in Manchester, UK. This is a hybrid position.

Your role

You will work within our Account & Market Activation team in Manchester, managing an assigned client base. Your responsibilities include overseeing client account and market activation activities, addressing day-to-day queries related to our products, services, and markets, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements in a highly regulated environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for your client base and serve as the liaison between the client, relationship managers, and operational teams.
  • Lead client interactions for account and market initiatives such as asset conversions, mergers, acquisitions, name/address changes, and new fund launches.
  • Interpret client instructions and assist in completing documentation to ensure accurate data setup across systems.
  • Conduct regular reviews of outstanding items to ensure timely completion.
  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships to deliver a top-tier client experience and support department growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s structure and needs to provide tailored services.
  • Leverage knowledge of our products, services, and markets to simplify client engagement and setup processes.
  • Ensure clients receive necessary training or conduct training yourself.
  • Identify gaps or quality issues in transition processes and recommend improvements.
  • Stay informed about global projects that may impact your role and participate in business change initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Risk-aware mindset with experience in controls enhancement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Coaching and training experience
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective decision-making skills in ambiguous, complex, or urgent situations
  • Attention to detail
