What is the opportunity? Your main responsibility as a Senior Associate within the RBC team will be providing excellent service to clients in order to support their Client Team in the development of profitable new business for Wealth Management International (WM-I) and the wider RBC organization, whilst retaining AUM/Revenue for WM-I.The Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting the Client Management Director/Associate Directors to deliver on projects and initiatives as required. What will you do? Deliver an unrivalled client experience and support RMs in delivering new and sustainable revenues for WM-I in line with the S&RM Sales MethodologyProvide full expert support within the client team by acting as a point of contact to clients.
Assist in the planning/implementing of investments and other service offerings and the day-to-day functional/administrative support of the clients’ portfolios.
Overseeing the coordination of investment dealing, banking and administration requirements.
Committed support and awareness of the S&RM (Sales & Relationship Management) Sales Methodology throughout the lifecycle of the client relationship, including knowledge and awareness of the fundamentals of how S&RM does business, goes to market/prospects.
Drive to be the first line of defence relating to the activities detailed in the Relationship Manager and Associate Accountability and Responsibility matrix, ensuring any associated requests are dealt with in a compliant manner.
Establish yourself as a point of escalation to resolve issues where required and escalating and reporting all risk events and near misses immediately.
Adhering to all internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements on a day-to-day basis to ensure business requirements are always met as part of the Culture of Excellence.
Proven experience in Associate roles or similar.
Effective communication, both in person and virtually.
Desire to continue professional development (Active learning by attending seminars, in-house lunches and learning sessions).
