We are seeking a Senior Associate Civil Engineer to join our Ashford team and play a key role in driving the continued growth of our Civil Engineering business. This role is equivalent to an Associate Director position within other consultancies and offers the opportunity to lead talented engineering teams, influence strategy and deliver a diverse portfolio of development and infrastructure projects.
Our Ashford team has a strong reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions across the region and nationwide, supporting a wide range of private and public sector clients. From strategic land developments and residential schemes through to complex infrastructure projects, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on projects that shape communities.
Working within our multidisciplinary environment, you will collaborate with experts across transport, environmental, buildings and infrastructure disciplines to deliver integrated solutions for our clients.
As a Senior Associate Civil Engineer, you will be a senior technical and delivery leader, responsible for leading complex projects, developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
You will combine technical expertise, commercial awareness and leadership capability to deliver successful outcomes for clients while supporting the development of our teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, developing and mentoring engineering teams, including senior technical staff.
Supporting team capability, growth, utilisation and long-term development.
Creating a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation and high performance.
Supporting succession planning and the development of future leaders.
Providing technical leadership across a range of civil engineering projects of varying scale and complexity.
Overseeing the successful delivery of multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion.
Ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard, meeting client expectations and company requirements.
Managing technical quality, risk and commercial performance across projects.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Taking ownership of important project relationships and ensuring successful outcomes.
Representing Stantec within the industry and supporting our market presence.
Playing a leading role in winning new work and converting opportunities.
Supporting bids, tenders and client pursuits.
Developing client strategies and contributing to sustainable business growth.
Helping build and maintain a strong pipeline of future opportunities.
Working closely with the leadership team to support business planning and regional growth strategies.
Contributing to sector development and cross-discipline collaboration.
Supporting innovation, best practice and continuous improvement across the business.
