The Role

Ranked in the Legal 500 Tier system, you will be part of this renowned and rapidly growing Edinburgh Banking and Finance team with colleagues across the UK.

The successful candidate will gain experience in various financial matters, including drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation, managing conditions precedent, inter-creditor arrangements, and issues related to lending transactions.

Clients include highly regarded investors and financial institutions. You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships and establish yourself as an expert in banking and finance law.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has 3+ years PQE with a strong background in banking law, including liaising with stakeholders such as borrowers, lenders, and investors throughout transactions.
• Can manage a varied caseload with diverse clients and has the ambition and communication skills to develop client relations further.
• Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about current banking law developments.
