Job summary

Browne Jacobson LLP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Banking & Finance Solicitor to join our Market-leading Team in a hybrid role across Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and Nottingham. You will handle high-value transactions for major banks and advise on acquisition, property and development finance.

Working with colleagues in Corporate and Real Estate, you will draft facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor arrangements, manage client relationships and contribute to business

Qualifications

• Experience in banking and finance matters across acquisition, property and development finance, restructuring or refinancing.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive, ambitious and collaborative mindset, with interest in BD.

Responsibilities

Team Banking

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Banking & Finance Solicitor to join our highly regarded team, acting on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions for a prestigious client base, including major UK banks such as Lloyds, NatWest, HSBC, Santander and Clydesdale Bank.

Working alongside colleagues across our Corporate and Real Estate teams, you will advise clients on a variety of banking and finance matters, including acquisition finance, property finance, asset-based lending, restructuring and refinancing.

What you'll be doing

• Advising clients on banking and finance transactions and arrangements.
• Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and intercreditor agreements.
• Leading and supporting transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Managing client relationships and attending client meetings.
• Supervising junior team members and coordinating transaction workstreams.
• Supporting business development activities and helping to grow the team's profile and client base.
