Job summary

Leading International Firm in Manchester seeks a Banking & Finance Solicitor at Associate, Senior Associate or Legal Director level to join a growing team. You will advise lenders, borrowers and financial institutions on a broad range of financing transactions.

The role covers corporate lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance and asset-based lending, with opportunities to work across corporate, real estate and restructuring teams in a collaborative, commercially minded environment.

Banking & Finance Solicitor | Manchester | Associate - Legal Director | Leading International Firm | Broad Finance Work

We are working with a leading international law firm looking to expand its Banking & Finance team in Manchester, with opportunities available at Associate, Senior Associate or Legal Director level.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Banking & Finance Solicitor looking to join an established and growing practice, advising a diverse client base on a broad range of financing transactions. With a strong pipeline of work and an established national offering, the team provides exposure to high-quality matters across corporate lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance and asset-based lending.

The firm has an established presence across the North West and offers a collaborative working environment, with opportunities to work alongside colleagues across corporate, real estate and restructuring, providing a varied and commercially focused workload.

The Opportunity:

You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of banking and finance matters, advising lenders, borrowers, financial institutions, investors and private equity funds.

Your work is likely to include:

• General corporate lending
• Acquisition finance
• Real estate finance
• Asset-based lending (ABL)
• Drafting and negotiating finance documentation, including LMA and bespoke agreements
• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating security documentation
• Advising on complex financing transactions involving banks, funds and corporate clients
• Working collaboratively with corporate, real estate and restructuring teams
• Supporting business development initiatives and developing client relationships

You will work closely with experienced Banking & Finance Partners, gaining exposure to sophisticated clients and a varied range of transactions.

The team includes experienced practitioners with expertise across complex financing matters, including ABL facilities, development finance and specialist lending. There is scope to shape the role around your experience, interests and longer-term career ambitions.
