About the role

We are looking for qualified or soon-to-be-qualified auditors interested in growing their careers in the Cayman Islands. We have a number of roles available at the global accounting firms starting from September/October 2025 onwards. Even if you’re completing your final exams this summer, now is the ideal time to apply. Secure your role in advance and get ready to relocate to one of the world’s leading offshore financial services centres once you qualify!

You will take the lead on a variety of audit engagements, focusing on asset management (funds) and/or insurance. Your responsibilities will include managing the audit file from planning to completion, and performing an initial review of financial statements before they are reviewed by the manager. Reporting directly to experienced managers, directors, and partners, you’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience and insights from seasoned professionals in the asset management and insurance sectors.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • In-charge of/completing the audit file from planning through to completion.
  • Preparing detailed audit work of various investment structures and related vehicles; or insurance entities.
  • Performing a first review of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Researching accounting and regulatory issues.
  • Corresponding professionally with clients and service providers.
  • Ensuring engagements are delivered on time and within budget.

Please note that the job location is the Cayman Islands and would be an on-site role on a 1.5-2 year minimum contract (promotions and pay raises can occur during the contract). A relocation and work permit package would be provided.

The requirements

  • A qualified or soon-to-be-qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CA(SA), CRC, etc.). [If you still have exams remaining in 2025, this is an excellent opportunity to apply and secure an offer ahead of qualification].
  • A minimum of 3 years’ recent external audit experience (by the start date), preferably within a Big Four or Top 10 environment.
  • Financial services experience (asset management or insurance) is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Compensation and benefits

  • Annual salary: approximately US$75,000 income tax free.
  • A relocation package (flights, 2 weeks in a hotel and 2 weeks car hire etc).
  • Annual discretionary performance related bonus.
  • ~20 days holiday/annual leave.
  • Medical and pension perks.
  • Excellent learning and career growth opportunities.
  • Gain experience in one of the world’s leading offshore financial services centres.
