Job summary

Brightsmith is seeking a Senior Associate to join its infrastructure investment team in London. The role offers broad exposure across the investment process, including transaction evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, execution, investment committee preparation and ongoing portfolio oversight.

Ideal candidates will have experience in infrastructure, energy, renewables or real assets drawn from an investment manager, private equity fund, infrastructure fund, investment bank, or similar

Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling and valuation capability.
• Experience supporting and executing transactions.
• Exposure to infrastructure, energy or real asset investments.
• Experience coordinating commercial, financial, technical and legal due diligence.
• Preparation of investment committee materials and transaction recommendations.
• Strong analytical judgement and commercial understanding.
• Ability to work across investment, asset management and portfolio teams.

Job description

We are working with an established institutional investment manager seeking to appoint a Senior Associate within its infrastructure investment team in London.

The role will provide broad exposure across the investment process, including transaction evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, execution, investment committee preparation and ongoing portfolio oversight.

The successful candidate is likely to have experience within infrastructure, energy, renewables, energy transition or broader real assets, gained from an investment manager, private equity fund, infrastructure fund, investment bank or comparable institutional environment.

Key experience will include:

• Strong financial modelling and valuation capability
• Experience supporting and executing transactions
• Exposure to infrastructure, energy or real asset investments
• Experience coordinating commercial, financial, technical and legal due diligence
• Preparation of investment committee materials and transaction recommendations
• Strong analytical judgement and commercial understanding
• Ability to work across investment, asset management and portfolio teams

The position would suit an experienced Associate or existing Senior Associate looking to take on greater transaction responsibility within a well capitalised and growing investment platform.
