A leading NHS Trust in Manchester is seeking a professional to manage capital equipment acquisitions and ensure effective training for healthcare staff. The role involves coordinating repairs, handling the asset register, and liaising with medical engineers. Candidates should have experience in asset management and strong communication skills. You'll be required to undertake the acquisition of Capital Equipment and the preparation of business cases for rolling equipment replacement programmes. Particular emphasis will be on the control of the Capital Asset Register and upkeep of equipment within the theatre area. You will have responsibility for hiring, repair and control of medical equipment used within the department(s).
You will be the first line contact for all theatre healthcare professionals with queries regarding medical equipment, including all equipment company representatives entering the theatre suite.
