A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Assistant Technical Officer in the Aseptic Unit. The role involves preparing aseptic products, supervising processes, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice. Opportunities include a Level 3 Diploma to enhance career progression and registration with the Science Council.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, pro-active and enthusiastic Senior Assistant Technical Officer to work in our busy and friendly Aseptic Unit within the Pharmacy Department.
You will work as part of a dedicated team involved in the preparation and dispensing of aseptic products. You will perform duties such as organising and supervising processes within the aseptic unit such as; specialist cleaning, transfer disinfection, stock control, physical and environmental monitoring as well as dispensing and preparing sterile products.
You should be eager to learn, flexible, reliable, able to work accurately, follow detailed standard operating procedures and have good attention to detail.
The team is committed to supporting the ongoing learning and development of each team members, with opportunities such as the completion of a Level 3 Diploma in the Principles of Aseptic Pharmaceutical Processing available for the right candidate. The Level 3 Diploma is completed over a 2 year period and will enable you to register as a Science Manufacturing Technician with the Science council.
Hours of work will be discussed with weekdays operating between the hours of 7.30am and 5.20pm and a requirement to participate in the rota for the weekend and Bank Holiday service provision.
