The Role

To ensure the Non-Stock medicines are ordered and received onto the ward in an efficient and timely manner and for them to follow the patient throughout their hospital stay, ensuring a safe and efficient use of Pharmacy Products at ward level.

What we'll need you to bring
  • Scottish Vocational Qualification Level II
  • Two years experience as an assistant technical officer.
  • Experience in hospital practice
  • Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload and work under pressure.
  • Able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to CPD / Self motivation
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate customer awareness/focus.
  • Willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department.

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
