Would you like to develop a high level of skill and expertise to help people living with health problems, supported by a friendly and experienced team?
We are looking for a newly or recently qualified Clinical Psychologist to develop into a confident practitioner in Clinical, Health, and Neuropsychology. The successful candidate will gain expertise across a range of health conditions and neurological presentations, including functional neurological disorders.
You should be motivated to work psychologically in medical settings, comfortable working in teams and individually. Experience with clients in hospital settings, psychological assessment, formulation, and neuropsychological interventions would be advantageous.
The post is based at The Old Chapel within a friendly Department of Psychological Medicine, with travel to other sites. The department supports flexible and hybrid working, including some home working.
Main duties of the job
The role includes direct clinical work with patients, providing advice and consultation to MDT colleagues, and contributing to research and teaching.
You will contribute to improving psychological care delivery, including staff training and patient group programmes.
