The ASOS Merchandising team ensures that we have the right products, at the right time, in the right place, and in the right quantities. They work closely with the buying teams to plan and build the ranges, taking control of stock levels to maximise profit. Without merchandisers, there would be no stock to sell!

What You'll Be Doing
  1. Responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the Merchandising department
  2. Forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets for the department
  3. Monitoring department performance and identifying opportunities, as well as potential risks/losses
  4. Working closely with the Buying teams to successfully range plan for the department
  5. Participating in trade meetings with Heads of and Directors
  6. Evaluating the department's operations, focusing on lead times and overall performance
  7. Developing and managing Merchandising Administrators to encourage their growth
  8. Managing the WSSI and supporting trade plans
  9. Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies
Who We'd Like to Meet
  1. Proven experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in a Fashion Retail business
  2. Experience in planning weekly sales, stock, and intake management
  3. The confidence to manage and own a category, including participating in weekly trade meetings
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally at all levels
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  6. Experience managing and developing team members (desirable)
  7. Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and MS Office applications
  8. Knowledge of reporting tools is desirable
  9. A passion and interest in online retail, especially ASOS.com!
