A leading British food company is seeking a Senior Company Secretarial Assistant to provide a professional company secretarial service. The role involves ensuring compliance with UK listing obligations and managing executive share schemes. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Company Secretary with strong experience in a Listed PLC environment. This position offers a bonus, pension options, and a variety of training opportunities.
The Senior Company Secretarial Assistant reports directly to the Senior Assistant Secretary, who manages workloads, reviews work, and provides support and development.
You will provide a professional, commercially focused company secretarial service to the Group. Working with the Deputy Secretary, responsible for daily management of core company secretarial matters, and the Senior Company Secretarial Assistant. The Deputy Secretary reports to the General Counsel & Company Secretary. This role is part of the succession plan, with the candidate likely to be ready to step into the Deputy Secretary role within 2-3 years.
There is flexibility in work allocation among the Company Secretarial team to meet business needs and support team development.
